If a doctor promotes a plant-based diet, should they still be required to follow ethical guidelines? For example, if a plant-based doctor grossly misrepresents research, should we overlook that if the end result is that more people might adopt this way of eating? How about if a doctor uses a fake weight loss testimonial to promote their eating plan? Would that be okay, if it led to people changing their diets to one that's more plant-based? Is it wrong for vegans to critique another vegan's poor behavior, if we are all promoting a plant-based diet? Should we only critique the science or behavior of people pushing diets which contain animal products?
