I feel that salt is a problem for those consuming huge amounts of processed foods, fish etc. Research shows that there are few people who should not consume salt particularly in high doses. High blood pressure may be genetic in many people, but their high meat diet helps soar these numbers and soar poor health. There is plenty of research on salt and you can google and read Dr. Mirkin's notes on this research.
