The weekend before last, Team VegSource (aka the Nelson Family) jetted off to Chicago for the grand opening of a new Native Foods vegan cafe in Wicker Park.

Now we have video to show you just how much fun and delicious an experience this was!

Watch the video -- and find out who won the contest and was flown to Chicago for the big bash!

Many in the veg world for years have said, "Wouldn't it be great to have a wonderful, large chain of vegan restaurants across the US? When will this happen?"

Well that is getting closer and closer to reality!

Last week's opening in Chicago brings to 8 the number of Native Foods cafes -- and they are opening four more outlets in Chicago very soon, as well as new outlets in San Diego, Orange County and Los Angeles!

Then watch for a Native Foods coming to your town in 2012!

Their goal is to have 50 Native Foods Cafes up and serving delcious vegan fare by the end of next year!

Wonder why Native Foods is being so successful in expanding their vegan chain?

Hubby and I met Chef Tanya last year in Palm Springs. She's great! I know she has a couple restaurants in Orange County...but wish she'd come to Brea...I know a great location on Birch Street!
