His "Antineoplastons" Therapy Has Been Shown to Help Cure "Incurable" Terminal Cancer

Important! The producers of this powerful film are allowing a full and FREE viewing of this film through June 13th! Please tell everyone you know to watch this film in it's entirety through June 20, 2011. That is an extension of the date by one more week!

Burzynski, the Movie is the story of a medical doctor and Ph.D biochemist named Dr. Stanislaw Burzynski who won the largest, and possibly the most convoluted and intriguing legal battle against the Food and Drug Administration in American history.

In the 1970’s, Dr. Burzynski made a remarkable discovery that threatened to change the face of cancer treatment forever. His non-toxic gene-targeted cancer medicine could have helped save millions of lives over the last two decades had his discovery not been criminally suppressed by the US government, as his therapy, called “antineoplastons,” have been shown to effectively help cure some of the most “incurable” forms of terminal cancer.

This documentary takes you through the treacherous 14-year journey Dr. Burzynski and his patients have had to endure in order to finally obtain FDA-approved clinical trials of antineoplastons.

WATCH FILM:

Dr. Burzynski's story is yet another testament that fact can be far stranger than fiction, as the film exposes the powerful, unscrupulous forces that work to maintain the status quo of the medical- and pharmaceutical industry at any cost—including the lives of millions of people.

Dr. Burzynski resides and practices medicine in Houston, Texas. He was able to initially produce and administer his discovery without FDA-approval from 1977-1995 because the state of Texas at this time did not require that Texas physicians be required to adhere to Federal law in this situation. This law has since been changed.

As with anything that changes current-day paradigms, Burzynski's ability to successfully treat incurable cancer with such consistency has baffled the industry. However this fact has prompted numerous investigations by the Texas Medical Board, who relentlessly took Dr. Burzynski as high as the state supreme court in their failed attempt to halt his practices.

Likewise, the Food and Drug Administration engaged in four Federal Grand Juries spanning over a decade attempting to indict Dr. Burzynski, all of which ended in no finding of fault on his behalf. Finally, Dr. Burzynski was indicted in their 5th Grand Jury in 1995, resulting in two federal trials and two sets of jurors finding him not guilty of any wrongdoing. If convicted, Dr. Burzynski would have faced a maximum of 290 years in a federal prison and $18.5 million in fines.

However, what was revealed a few years after Dr. Burzynski won his freedom, helps to paint a more coherent picture regarding the true motivation of the United States government's relentless persecution of Stanislaw Burzynski, M.D., Ph.D.

Note: When Antineoplastons are approved for public use, it will allow a single scientist to hold an exclusive license to manufacture and sell these medicines on the open market—before they become generic—leaving PhRMA absent in profiting from the most effective gene-targeted cancer treatment the world has ever seen.

This is one of the most disturbing and enraging documentaries I've seen recently. The conspiracy of the Texas Medical Licensing Board, the FDA and the pharmaceutical industry to try to prevent the use of the well-documented, life-saving cancer cure, antineoplastons, for the sake of making money at the expense of the health and welfare of human beings is sickening. who are these people? how do they sleep at night? how do they justify in their mind being mass-murderers? it is profound the depths of evil intent that people will sink to for the sake of the almighty dollar.

The most 'revealing' information that I have seen to date documenting the 'total 'greed', 'corruption', 'dysfunction' and 'evil' practices of many of the 'Power Players' in the Medical, Pharmaceutical, State + Governmental Institutions (Cartel) of the US.....to mention just a few. Money + Power Rule over ALL else. BUT, deep in our hearts, we ALL KNOW that the human race CANNOT function effectively without Honesty, Integrity + Compassion.....Dr Max Gerson, Charlotte Gerson, Dr Burzynski + many other brilliant minds are systematically attacked, bullied, brutalized, threatened + ostracized by EVIL GREED-MONSTERS in 'Power Positions', WITHOUT CONSCIENCE, and they have no qualms about blocking these brilliant men + women from 'HEALING' people....all in the name of MONEY, GREED + POWER...these EVIL-DOERS need to be 'weeded out'......

My wife has cancer. We asked our Oncologist at City of Hope Hospital in LA about Burzynski. Our Oncologist is very knowledgeable and trusted. He is NOT part of an economic conspiracy. He says his method is totally untested and the high treatment cost makes this a rip off. For those of us deep in it what are we to believe!?

user-pic

i would believe the documentary over your oncologist who apparently has not seen this documentary and is going on the limited information that he has, which the medical establishment has fed to him... i encourage you to buy a the burzynski dvd and give it to your doctor. if he is as sincere as you believe he is, then after seeing it he may become an advocate for antineoplastons.

In 2005, my mother was diagnosed with 4th stage metastatic adenocarceninoma. The doctors at a major cancer hospital in San Diego California kindly killed her with chemo. There was not "hope" for her in their paradigm, but nonetheless, they administered a toxic treatment that killed her much faster by destroying her immune system.

It made her so sick, she had black water coming out of her body for weeks while she withered away. THEY were highly respected "researchers" in their field. They were not the ones there washing her and seeing her die. WHY would they "treat" her when they did not think their treatments would work? Answer: the bias to "treat" (read: kill faster) is based on the money machine. More patients, more research dollars. My mother was a part of the money mill. She died in 4 months. Whether I die or live, I refuse to be a part of this crooked, one-sided system that sacrifices the individual for financial gain. Ask God for clarity. See with your eyes and not with the eyes of fear.

user-pic

This reminds me of Harry Hoxsey, Max Gershon, etc. Not to mention the Essiac and bloodroot therapies.

I had a doctor who wanted to remove an ovary because of a large cyst, I refused, improved my diet, reduced by half the cyst in 4 months and pissed her off. Needless to say she's not my doctor anymore. Trust.

user-pic

What's so perverse about all this in my view, is that we spend billions of tax dollars on "defense" yet can't protect unborn fetal tissue from the thousands of carcinogens that cause fetal cell mutation in the first place!!

Where are all those "pro-lifers" when it comes to lobbying agribusiness, Dow, DuPont, Monsanto and the other chemical corporations to cease their relentless unAmerican( actually, capitalism at ANY cost is very American)assault on our organs by producing the toxins that cause cancer in the first place.

NOT enough attention, even by this doctor, in using raw, organic, vegan food to alkalize the body and starve cancer cells.

Dr. Max Gerson also discovered the cure. We live in times where the language of "terror" is used to distract people from the real threat, corruption is the entire government system of worship of the GDP, above all else.

user-pic

While I appreciate Dr. Jacobson commenting on this documentary, I wish some of the other vegsource doctors would also chime in with their views and thoughts on this treatment option.

After doing a brief internet search, I came across a comment by Dr. Andrew Weil on Antineoplaston Therapy and Dr. Burzynski. He saw it as having very little benefit and being very expensive.

I have a friend in southern California, who recently had a cancerous brain tumor removed after passing out behind the wheel and waking up in the hospital. His long-term prognosis is not good. I posted something on his "caring bridge" website, directing him to this documentary at Vegsource. Then I found Dr. Weil's comment.

Maybe the comment was old, as it referred a 1985 Canadian study, but I really would like to know what Dr. Fuhrman, Dr. McDougall and Dr. Esselstyn think of Dr. Burzynski's Antineoplaston Therapy.

Thank you

user-pic

Hi Warren:

I value Dr. Jacobson's opinion on something like this as much as any of the others you mention.

Someone I know knows Dr. Burzynski, and tried to get him interested in vegetarianism. Dr. Burzynski was not really interested. Does that mean Burzynski's therapy doesn't work? Obviously not.

The facts in the film (which can be found elsewhere on the web) speak for themselves -- a 24% cure rate for his treatment vs a .09 cure rate for radiation and chemo with the same brain cancers.

Should your friend wait around to see if the somewhat a obese and not-veg Dr. Weil changes his mind when he learns more, or whether some vegan doctor approves? Why?

It's difficult to get the treatment, by the way, because Dr. Burzynski is in the third phase of clinical trials, and people have to meet various criteria in order to get in. But if I knew someone with a serious cancer, I would be all over Dr. Burzynski's operation to learn more and see whether there was a way to be involved. Part of the point of the documentary, if you viewed it all, is that you can't really rely on the government or "experts" to decide what's best for you, when your own life or that of someone you love is on the line.

user-pic

Thank you Jeff,

I didn't mean to imply that Dr. Jacobson wasn't as credible on this subject as Dr. McDougall or Dr. Fuhrman, but only that it would be nice to have a consensus on this treatment option from all, or most of the vegsource doctors.

I don't hold Dr. Weil in particularly high esteem, especially after his endorsement of Gary Taubes. But he does have a recognized name in the alternative medicine field, and I advised my friend to research Antineoplaston Therapy on his own. Now I suspect he will find the same comment that I did, and be discouraged from looking into it any further.

I only saw the first thirty minutes of the movie, because it stopped playing at that point and I was unable to get it to continue. But if it's available at the Whole Foods in Toronto, I'll purchase a copy there.

Thank you Dr. Jacobson,

I'll make sure he is aware of those links.

user-pic

I just read an article from Dr. Weil in the Huffington post about a week ago and he states there is no adverse health affects to full fat dairy produces. I think he is sold out.

user-pic

Note that Dr Weil also does not promote a plant-based diet - at least last time I checked. That reduces his value to me personally.

user-pic

This is a very moving documentary. Thanks for sharing it. I carry the BRCA-1 gene mutation and have been advised to have both my breasts and ovaries removed before I get cancer. Making this decision is horrifying for healthy young women like me. Clearly we need better ways of treating cancer.

By the way, though, you should correct the typo in the second to last paragraph. Instead of "pubic" I believe you mean "public." ;)

user-pic

This was upsetting yet not totally surprising. My question is: After learning about the corruption, what can I do about it? Any suggestions on a course of action?

user-pic

there's a link to their website at the end of the article.... click on the link and scroll down to the bottom and there is a link regarding what you can do to help

user-pic

It's an interesting story, but a bit odd that the "documentary" didn't attempt to interview anyone at the FDA or anyone currently with NCI, elan, etc. Most documentaries at least *try* to give more than one viewpoint. This one didn't. Burzynski has certainly been maligned, but I suspect there is more to the story than was presented.

user-pic

Just finished watching. It is amazing the corrupt of our government. Thank you for sharing this documentary. I will support Dr. Burzynski. We the people must take care of each other, and know who our enemies and allies are.

Can you imagine if Dr. Burzynski's patients became VEGAN....

user-pic

This is very disturbing. No wonder there have been so few new treatments for cancer. Who would want to subject themselves to this kind of abuse? How could something like this happen in the United States?

I too, would like to hear Dr. Fuhrman, Dr. McDougall and Dr. Esselstyn, and Colin Campbell's comments on this story.

Dr. Weil's endorsement of Gary Taubes kind of destroyed any confidence I may have had for him.

user-pic

This looks to me not only like a case of corporate greed and political BRAIN DEATH run amok, but of xenophobia. If those doctors were not foreign, but upper-class Harvard wasps from, say, Philadelphia, I wonder what would have happened? Thank you for your work, and I encourage EVERYONE who sees this to donate--no matter the amount. Be as generous as you can. We can pay for that trial.

user-pic

I don't want to be contrary but we are living with my wife's cancer. After 3 unsuccessful surgery attempts it is her successful chemo treatments along with supplements and vitamin C drips that we think are working for her. Is there not a place for western medicine and alternative medicine to work together. Our journey is one of both sides pointing the negative finger at one another just like politics. Why can't groups work together for the greater good, that is my frustration.

user-pic

I don't think anyone would disagree with anything you said, especially when you write "Is there not a place for western medicine and alternative medicine to work together" and "why can't groups work together for the greater good."

What the documentary shows, if you watched, is that the FDA disagrees with you strenuously on that point, and uses deceit and abuses its immense power to crush promising protocols for reasons of politics and greed. The corrupt FDA is just an extension of the powerful profit-driven system here, which does not value life or truly protect the public.

Glad your wife is doing better.

user-pic

HI all, I really would like to know what Dr. McDougall thinks of this guy...especially since he is overweight himself and not even vegetarian. Dr. Weil is one big fraud! He is fat and fat promotes cancer...he not one to be believed. And a doctor who promotes eggs and milk is himself addicted to both and therefore must say those are healthy. It is kind of like Al Gore not telling the world that animal ag is the biggest earth polluter...only because big Al wants his own cheeseburgers!

user-pic

Dr. McDougall isn't a vegetarian? I thought he was vegan?

user-pic

Yes, I watched the whole thing. I was left wanting for more data. Seems all we got were anecdotes and unsubstantiated claims.

I did a little googling and found this houstonpress.com article. Note that the article is 6 pages.

Based on that, his claims are definitely suspect. Over time, I have noticed that people without any backing to their claims tend to resort to ad hominens (attack the person, rather than respond to the question/criticism). For example, WAPF (Weston A. Price Foundation) literature is full of ad hominen attacks against plant-eaters. The article has several other good questions.

I think that we as a group are a little susceptible to this sort of stuff. Someone comes out with some alternative way of doing things, claims the government or a corporation is trying to shut them down, and we seem to immediately come to their defense. I figure we are more susceptible to these claims because, in our case, it actually happened; the government has royally messed up the nutritional guidelines, and the meat, dairy, and various unhealthy food industries are lying about their products (just like the tobacco industry). The difference is, we have the data to back up our assertions. But it appears that Burzynski does not. I don't know very much about him, but based on what I saw in the movie, and some quotes in the article, it seems like he is following the well-worn path of a charlatan trying to milk his snake oil for all he can before he gets caught.

You have to remember, you can't believe every book or documentary you come across. For every person, or group, that has a legitimate claim about government and/or industry corruption, there are probably dozens to thousands of frauds claiming the same corruption.

I am not saying he is a charlatan, only that it sure looks like he is based on what little there is to go from. Hence, I suspect he is a charlatan.

Vegsource editors: I wish you would research these things more before you post them. I know we can all get caught up by a well-done documentary that tugs at the right emotional coords and jump to a conclusion too soon (lord knows I am guilty of that many times over). But you have to remember that you have thousands of readers, and you are vegsource.com! People are going to find you when they google. Do you really want sick people looking for help to see "the vegans" endorsing frauds? People who have no understanding of healthy eating read your site and think you represent all vegans. It is unfortunate that anyone is burdened with that responsibility, but that is the position you have.

Realizing that we all have human failings and we can all be manipulated by charlatans, my suggestion to you is to work around this with a change in your process. When you read or see something and think "OMG, I need to tell the whole world about this right now!", I suggest you write up what you want to say about it and leave it on your computer for at least two days - especially for something that is not just a run-of-the-mill-eat-your-veggies article. Give yourselves time to calm down and process the information. Do some googling. Ask one or more of our trustworthy doctors. If it still pans out, then post it. If not, junk it.

Thank you.

trent489, yours is the most cogent reply. The FDA's behavior does not legitimize Burzynski's approach. My hunch is Burzynski does not have a valid treatment.

user-pic

I heard about Dr. Burzynski in the mid 90s when 2 of my husband's coworkers had a 3 month old baby with an inoperable brain tumor. She was given 3 months to live so the FDA granted them permission to go to Dr. Burzynski and my husband's company held a fundraiser for the medical bills. She is now 12 years old and healthy with no sign of cancer. She is one of the patients whose story is on Dr. Burzynski's site (her name is Tory is you want to read her story on the site).

user-pic

It is too bad that most insurances will not cover this treatment making it only for those who have money. About the movie, I always try to be in the middle and look at everything from the top. You have to ask yourself would you break the law to save a life? Run a stop sign on the way to the hospital. Maybe kill someone before they kill you. It is a harsh world we live in. I hope there is something we can all do about it. Any more ideas?

user-pic

We need to use social media like vegsource.com,facebook, twitter, you tube, etc. to express our concerns, to communicate our authenticity, our truth, our passion, our displeasure with the lies and duplicity. We will elevate the consciousness of this world in the direction of unity, cooperation, truth, love, acceptance, tolerance and forgiveness by insisting upon it in our daily lives, by being role models of right action, and by sharing our ideas and our ideals with others as best we can. watching from the sidelines is not the solution. jumping into the river and being part of the flow is where we all need to go.

user-pic

The FDA and Big Pharma are soooo please when they are able to keep people in a state of panic and fear. Those are the two things that precipitate CONTROL, without it these two corporations will no longer maintain their billion dollar statis.
People need to start using their own brain - make intelligent decisions; not based on fear. No amount of great intelligence is required to be suspect of where all the money for research is being spent. We have fanominal scientist in this world and it is an insult to them that people actually believe that they are unable to get a handle on the science behind cancer. Cancer has become a business and as long as people dig in their pockets to make these companies even richer the facade will continue. I have never given one penny to cancer research and never will. If everyone followed suit this huge empire of deceit would all come to an end. For the posters on this website who chose to stick their arm out to have dangerous chemotherapy drugs flooding their body by all means be my guest. One right we still do have is the right to make our own decisions when it comes to our health. I would choose a less invasive form of treatment in all situations. We live in a brainwashed society and most people are sheep and that is exactly who will become the prey. I choose to be the wolf. Just because western medicine condons this barbaric treatment doesn't mean you have to sign up for it. Dr. Burzynski is providing treatment that leaves a body in a healthy state that is more than western medicine can offer. Chemo drugs are carcinogenic. That is pro life.

user-pic

I think that we as a group are a little susceptible to this sort of stuff. Someone comes out with some alternative way of doing things, claims the government or a corporation is trying to shut them down, and we seem to immediately come to their defense.

Regards,
Cliff Merchant MD

user-pic

I can appreciate what you're saying, Cliff, and the caveat to all of us who have biases in any direction is to look at the facts and evaluate them free of our prejudices and emotional inclinations. From what I have read about this situation, it appears to me that the FDA has behaved dishonorably.

user-pic

Since two of my friends died of cancer this movie is even more important for me. I wish that more people could watch this.

user-pic

There are two issues here -- the trustworthiness of big government/big business fascism, and the best way to heal. I take it that the video is one more piece of the everlasting stream of evidence that big government control, in collusion with the medical/industrial establishment, is a disaster. Do we really need to have that demonstrated again? Dictatorships, even when implemented with patronizing good intentions, create immense suffering and injustice. Let freedom ring!

However, the second issue is also important. How shall we understand healing? For the last century, medicine has developed a very impressive set of technologies for dealing with disorders that are a function of a more or less separable PART of the whole physiological/psychological person. However, we are running into increasing difficulties with those disorders that involve the person as a whole -- these emerge quite noticeably in the so-called degenerative disorders that absorb most of the modern health care costs. I take it that the great healers of cancer an other such disorders have generally not attempted to introduce another medical technique, but have attempted to create a systemic environment in which the body's natural restorative and self-healing capacities are liberated to do their own amazing work. Of course, this approach requires the responsible action of the client (I do not use the term patient, as it has come to be associated the irresponsibility of sick persons to participate in their own healing).

This is why, if I had cancer, I would probably not consider Burzynski's approach. It might work in certain circumstances. In the absence of more research, who really knows? But we all know that the body possesses remarkable mechanisms of self-healing. Moreover, diet -- especially a whole food plant based diet -- is key to promoting those capacities. So, after I have had my carrot juice, please pass the broccoli and brown rice, thanks.
