We have long been fans of Chef Tanya and her chain of vegan restaurants called Native Foods Cafe. They are an amazing place to dine and we go every chance we get!
Well, soon people across the USA will be able to enjoy the same delicious and healthy Native Foods cuisine! As part of their plan to bring yummy plant-strong eats across the country, they have just announced that Ron Biskin has joined the company as its President & Chief Operating Officer.
Biskin brings some special experience to help Native Foods make a quantum leap. He is a 25-year veteran of the restaurant industry and most recently President of Wolfgang Puck's chain of casual restaurants in the U.S. and Canada. He has previously held senior executive positions at prominent restaurant companies such as TGI Friday's, Burger King and Baja Fresh. Mr. Biskin has been a member of the Native Foods Board of Directors since early 2009.

Native Foods Cafe is the award-winning vegan/vegetarian restaurant chain founded in 1994 by the nationally acclaimed vegan chef, Tanya Petrovna. There are currently 6 operating restaurants and an additional 4 more in development. The Company was acquired in 2009 by a group of private investors, led by Daniel Dolan and Andrea McGinty, the founder and former owners of It's Just Lunch International, and Chef Tanya Petrovna, Founder of Native Foods. Since the acquisition, the company has enjoyed over 20% same store sales growth.
