Taking the lead of Paul McCartney, who spearheaded the Meatless Monday initiative in the U.K., the Toronto Vegetarian Association is suggesting that residents of the Big Smoke and beyond abstain from eating meat once a week. According to the TVA, making such a slight dietary modification will allow you to "improve your health, reduce your carbon footprint and be kind to animals."
