First, get the junk food and soda pop out of your diet! Replace with fresh fruit, herb tea (hot or iced), whole grain pretzles, etc.
Second, get the eggs and dairy out. Replace with soy milk in cooking and egg-free recipes, available here.
Third, learn to cook without oils and fats.
Fourth, finally eliminate all the meat, replacing with more veggies, whole grains, and beans. Starchy foods are good for you, provided that they are whole and not fat-laden.
