Subject: Zucchini/squash

Hi. I'm brand new to this site, and I'm gathering all kinds of helpful information. Thanks so much for providing such a wonderful site. One question I have is regarding zucchini/squash. I'm not a big fan. However, many of the recipes I have include a LOT of zucchini/squash (for example, lo-cal stew in the MWL book--which I LOVE otherwise). Does anyone have other vegetables they would substitute for the zucchini/squash?
