Subject: Vegan Fondue

This was the first recipe from my "Veganize/McDougallize Food Network Recipe" challenge. I have a picture and a link to the inspiration recipe on my blog.

This recipe isn't mine. It was a recipe I found a while ago and didn't note where. I have no idea where it came from (or I would give proper credit.)

Vegan Fondue
2 cups hot water (You could use 1 cup water and 1 cup German lager beer)
1/3 cups cooked carrots
1/3 cup whole wheat flour
1/4 cup nutritional yeast flakes
1 T. lemon juice
2 tsp. onion powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt

Blend all ingredients together in a blender.

Pour into pan and stir until thick. Add spicy brown mustard to taste.

Serve with raw vegetables of your choice and a good bread (I used multi-grain French bread.)
