Your only seeing half of the picture Sheri. You need to reduce fat and protein. Getting your carbs from whole foods that have calcium, magnesium, potassium, folate and all the other nutrients that your body needs is better than popping vitamins because your body will absorb those nutrients from the foods you eat. While your body absorb those nutrients your vital organs start healing from the fat they are enclosed in and start elimintating the protective fat that is no longer needed to protect them. Your body will become less acidic. Alkalinity is the third rail of high fat/protein diets.

With lower fat intake your cravings will diminish. How many healthy alcoholics do you know? Take one into a bar and find out...LOL. How many healthy Atkins friends do you know?

Eating well is eating whole foods that are high in nutrients and fiber. You can go to http://www.whfoods.com to help you find nutritious foods. I can tell you that they are not bacon, steak, pork rinds and cream cheese.

How much does it cost? How much have you spent on supplements that Atkins and Power Protein recommends? Potatoes, brown rice, perl barley, beans, squash, lettuce, carrots...your kidding me aren't you Sheri!
