If I was stranded on a dessert island with only a kitchen the one book I would want to have with me is The Saucy Vegetarian.
By far this is the book I use the most. It is full of simple, quick, no-fuss, no-mess recipes that I can whip up in no time to cover or
blend with anything I happen to have in the fridge from kale to sweet potatoes, to lentils or pre-made salads. More often than not I don't feel like cooking and this book has saved my butt.
With The Saucy Vegetarian, I look like a gourmet, and I can disguise the most intimidating of ingredients to suspicious non-vegetarians.
If anyone is having difficulty deciding which book to have, this would be my suggestion.Of course, they are all necessary, but this one is my lifesaver.
I'm a vegan Brit with an addiction for recipe books, but yours stand out and so many of your recipes have been an inspiration.
I particularly love The Saucy Vegetarian -- genius! Give me a stick blender and I can now whip up a feast in minutes.
