In my last entry, I explained how our three kids were lucky enough to be selected to perform in the Joffrey Ballet's production of CINDERELLA at the Music Center in downtown Los Angeles last weekend.
I took my camera with me on Sunday and shot a few snaps backstage of the kids and some of the dancers.
Here they are!
Sabrina and Cinderella's step-sisters (played by men)
These guys had a big responsibility, they pulled Cinderella's pumpkin carriage -- really fast! I would have been nervous if I was down in the orchestra!
Up and coming prince material, our son Willie.
And the closeup...
VegSourcers -- they're everywhere! Including in the LA Opera orchestra. This is James, a violinist in the orchestra, a McDougall fan, and a VegSource newsletter reader who we hooked up with backstage.
The girls and their partners...
Our kids!
Randa and Nina with Morgan (their best friend) in the middle.
Nina and her partner.
Willie and a step-sister.
She's playing Autumn on this day, but was the Fairy God Mother in the two performances we watched from the audience. She's good!
This dancer was very pregnant! But you couldn't really tell it from the costume.
Nina with one of the Cavaliers.
Girls with a Courtier.
This guy was hilarious as Wellington, who danced with the step-sisters.
Pretty!
The other step-sister.
Always performing!
This cutie again.
More courtiers.
Incredible dancers!
The jester...
