J Morris Hicks's Profile Page
J. Morris Hicks
After studying all about the world-changing power of a whole foods, plant-based diet since 2002, I have recently completed my first book and am honored to report that Dr. T. Colin Campbell and his son Nelson wrote the foreword for it.
My particular niche in the world of food and health is a "big picture perspective" regarding the food that we eat and the staggering impact that it has on our health and our cost of health care -- not to mention the frightening disruption to our fragile harmony that it inflicts in so many different ways.
Now listed as a pre-order on Amazon, a preview of our book can be seen on the Book Preview page of my daily blogging site at hpjmh.com
Background Summary
A former process improvement consultant and senior corporate executive with Ralph Lauren in New York, J. Morris Hicks has always focused on the “big picture” when analyzing any issue. In 2002, after becoming curious about our “optimal diet,” he began a study of what we eat from a global perspective ---- discovering many startling issues and opportunities along the way.
Leveraging his expertise in making complex things simple, he documented his findings in his powerful new book:
Healthy Eating - Healthy World
Unleashing the world changing power of plant-based nutrition
He recently embarked on his new career as a writer, speaker, blogger and consultant -- promoting health, hope and harmony on planet Earth. His book will be in stores the first week of October this year.
