My daughter was more or less unschooled from abt age 14 to age 18. Typically, she centered activities around her interest in manga: creative writing, illustrating, art, anime style music, Japan and other Asian countries, psychology, consumer math. She also picked up some Japanese, Korean and German as a result, although she gave up the difficult writing for the two Asian languages. She did yoga every day, went to the gym with me two times or more a week, and walked at least a mile daily. Not academic, but very interesting to her and she is getting good grades in most college subjects now.
