I'm not sure how to reply to this post, so I just
want to say that I've been there...and five years
later we are still unschooling/ homeschooling and
those same critics are amazed at the academic
abilities and social maturity my children have
gained. Hang in there. Respectfully remind your
mother-in-law that she is the grandma and you are
the mom. Those roles may need to be defined. And
you may want to also ask your husband to trust you.
After all, you trust him to do his job. Good luck. I'll try to write more later.
