Regarding testing, I'll back up what the previous poster said, but also keep in mind that you can purchase norm referenced tests and give them to your child yourself (send them back to the testing company for scoring, get results in the mail, keep receipt should you need to prove you tested). I recommend the Family Learning Organization as a good testing provider although there are many other test providers out there. Just take a look at the MHA handbook for a list of them!
