I wasn't aware of this until my professor pointed it out. MS Word has a readability check that tells you what grade level you're composing in. Apparently schools-system thinking seeps into everything we do. She also made the comment, "it tells you how many years of schooling you need to be able to read it." What does that make natural learners?
