Ok I had my coffee, lol. I would look into other groups in your area that practice homeschooling/unschooling. But to put it the way I and my son do it, we don't go to any groups or any such get togethers. We just learn here on our own, we do our own thing. We go to this store called Good Ideas, they cater to homeschoolers, and we get ideas and books there. He also games alot. He has learned so much reading that way, it amazes me. Anyway as far as looking like a bad parent and such, firstly I would get some info from the homeschoolers in your area, like the legalities of it, and then you can rest knowing that what ever course you have to take, it will be perfectly legal. Then just do your own thing, no matter what others may think of you. debs
