Subject:	about to start unschooling

The kids have voted. They want to try this unschooling thing.
I am still back and forth about it. My 11 yr old boy has high functioning autism.... and is seldom motivated to do "school work" but can spend hours drawing... reading books... and enlightening me on various subjects he is interested in.
My 9 yr old boy spends most of his day in the classroom... in the back of the room... surfing the net... because the teacher recognizes that he knows most of the grade level material already. But he wants me to find him a tutor in writing-his weaker subject- because he wants to write a report on fossils.

I know they will excel with the unschooling style. But I am nervous anyways.

any words of encouragement? advice? pointers?

please? LOL
