Well, I had a nice lengthy response to your responses, but when I went back to correct a few things after previewing it, I lost the entire email!
So here I go again, but I'll try to be brief!
We have been homeschooling for 15 years and currently have 6 dc ranging in ages from 21.5 years to a 1 yo. Our two dd are the "book ends" with four ds in the middle. Our two oldest are at BJU in SC, we live in PA, and are completing their JR an Freshman years. At home we have a 10th grade ds, 8th grade ds, a 1st grader (he wants to do lots of book work, but isn't getting a much from me!), and our 1 yo dd. I run a small homeschool group which meets for 9-10 Friday afternoons in the fall and spring...very low key, no homework type group. I also work a couple days/month as an OB RN.

When considering unschooling, I started looking it up on the internet. My concern is that it might be more work than our "regular" bookwork. Although, I know that when students are interested in topics they learn much more than when they are just doing the work to complete a book, or because they have to.
I'm thinking that I can figure out how to be creative with my record keeping, although high school transcripts without "grades" is kind of scary. Could you shed some more light into your "typical" day/week? I'd appreciate anymore advice you can lend.
Thanks for taking the time to respond to my original post, and this one...if you feel led. I had given up hope that I was going to hear from anyone on this board but was delighted to see that you took the time to respond!
