I'm debating using ANWOA w/my 11 yo son...We've had a terrible time this year (I believe he's ADHD-even though the dr hasn't diagnosed it). So, in your opinion, would this be a good fit for a wiggly, quickly distracted child? Also, he needs more instruction in writing...so this unit study intrigued me. One other thing, I saw that one person posted that the state studies were (in her opinion) a drawback...could they be skipped over if I agreed, or would we be missing important lessons? Thanks for the help...
