In my opinion, you can't go wrong with Five in a Row and Homeschool Share! Five in a Row revolves around some great children's books and it's cheaper than Sonlight. It also allows time for the student to enjoy the book instead of rushing through it as Sonlight does. Homeschool Share is free, so you can't beat that price. They also have lots of lapbooks.
