I just started Galloping the Globe this past January and absolutely love it! there's very little prep. they have a few resources they recommend you purchase that you use several times a week or weekly, then give you a list of books to get from the library to use for resources. you won't need all the books from the list, just whatever your library has available or you have in your home library. they also give websites to research and free pages you can print out to go in their notebooks. there also is a Yahoo group where you can get ideas from other users that is very helpful.

my 6 yo loves looking back through her notebook at all the pages she's put in there. you can dig as deep as you want into whatever they show an interest in. we would even check out local music from the library or try to find websites to listen to music from each country.

bottom line, I'm so glad we decided to go this route. I know each family and each child is unique and learns differently, but this sure fits us like a glove!
