Trisms is almost totally student direct and we loved it. TOG is very mom intensive as far as getting it together etc. I tried and tried to get TOG to work for me, but too much to ferrret through. Trisms was not over planned but outlined well. My daughter loved it. She made a wonderful course book. I did not use the writing program they recommended to go with it. We just did the writing assignments with what we already had learned about writing
