Hi!

I'm seriously considering purchasing an older version of Sonlight's History of God's Kingdom. This one includes the "How to Read Church History" Volumes 1 & 2.
I believe the copyright of the IG is 2001 or 2002.

Does anyone know if the notes/study guides are as thorough or easy to follow as they seem to be in the newest IG?

I see on the Sonlight website that in 2005 literary analysis was added to the IG for History of God's Kingdom & that it was changed to Core 200.

Would the older IG be "meaty" enough in the composition/literature for a 10th grader?

Ahy & all opinions on this core year are appreciated!
