| | Subject: | Unusual situation; trying to help my 16-year-old homeschooled friend whose parents completely neglect her education | |
Date: | September 26, 2012 at 1:10 am PST |
I am a 25-year-old college student and my 16-year-old friend is in desperate need of a basic, foundation education. Her parents haven't taught her anything since she was a kid, because they want her to be a famous actress/model/dancer and decided she didn't need an education. I am trying to make up for their neglect, but I don't know where to start and I don't have much money. I need to evaluate what she does know and get educational materials as cheap as possible. Does anybody have any advice or resources that might be helpful? Thanks in advance.
