I am using both of them together. I have a tendancy to take the parts I like out of books and put them together. school in the woods has the timlines/characters.. so if thats what your wanting you can do that instead. I bought the audio for moh and we are listening to that now before we start the awoa. We have gone through the Bible along with MOH so they have a good foundation of creation. I will try to mix the two curriculums together. It may take a bit more effort but in the long run I think you will be happy.
