The trick to being satisfied at a meal is to start 20 minutes before a meal with some protein, like a little bit of nuts. That gets the leptin flowing, which tells your stomach when it has had enough. Then there is adequate leptin during your meal. This has been proven to work. You end up eating less. Also, don't forget that after a normal meal, if you are still hungry, you can eat all of the vegetables you want. Just don't add salt and butter. That added fiber will help with overall weight loss, too. HTH, Mary
