Hi Dolly,
I hesitated replying to your message because I didn't want you to think that I have alterior motives because I have BJU for sale. Secondly because your post is a few weeks old.
But I chose BJU because I needed something that was well organized because I started out taking my daughter to work with me and I needed something that was structured. I liked the fact that their teacher's manuals had the lesson plans laid out(especially in the earlier years) with a few different plans for you to choose from. I also liked the way BJU gives you options for Satalite school or what I chose in the later years....Satalite school on DVD. With the older grades, some parents find it hard when the subjects get a little more advanced. With the DVDs they are taught by other teachers. They also have an acredidation program when they reach freshman year.Over all it worked great. I will say though that is is a slightly advanced curriculum. Some students find it hard to adapt. I found that it gave my daughter very good pre-college skills. It trained her to acheive good study habits. Of course, like everything else...that was a process.
Well, I hope that I helped a little. Happy hunting!!
Deanna
