I am a special education teacher and am completing a Master's Program in special education. I was wondering if some of you would be willing to share experiences with me for a final paper I am writing. I am looking for parents of children that had a disability as a newborn. I have enclosed my e-mail address if you would be willing to contact me. These are the questions; any help you can provide would be great appreciated. How did the hospital tell you about your child's disability? Did a trained social worker speak to you? What kind of transitional support was offered to assist you in bringing your child home?
