Hi Carolyn, I noticed your post when I was looking for an answer to my post!! I have a son who is 15 and he has dysgraphia also. I am not sure what the nonverbal learning disorder is, so I won't address that. But as far as the dysgraphia and frustration...I would ease off a bit on making your daughter write...don't do too much writing until you learn more about it. The nice thing about homeschooling is you can slow down when there is a lot of frustration...take a break...do whatever to clear the air...I didn't realize my son had this until last week when I read an article...he always always forgets to punctuate and he knows to do this, but he never remembers...I worried that he would never learn to write intelligently in life...but I know how intelligent he is and he is very gifted in language and reading...so he is really okay!!:-) His writing gets better with time. I suppose there are different degrees of it, too. But whatever the case may be...relax and take a deep breath!! There is lots of information on these problems...and your daughter is still beautiful and wonderful even if she has these learning disorders:-) Here is a website for learning problems...diannecraft.org I have another one to give you on dysgraphia...I will email you again with the website for that... I pray you will find your answers as I am looking for mine also:-) God will always show us what to do and where to get wisdom!! Sincerely, Darla
