My 5 1/2 yr old son writes all his circles clockwise and also starts his letters from the bottom rather than the top. Teaching him to write his letters and numbers has been very difficult, because he ends up with them backwards (mostly letter with circles involved such as c, d, g, s, and numbers such as 5. When I 'googled' this, I found a bunch of sites talking about learning disabilities, as well as information on "Brain Integration Therapy for Children by Dianne Craft". Has anyone else dealt with this? Have you used the materials by Dianne Craft? Maybe I'm getting worked up over nothing...
