I have the Barton Reading and Spelling Levels I and II (Single-Tutor versions) and am very willing to sell them for a fraction of their cost. (retail cost: $250 each) After receiving these, I had some major dental work done and it has impaired my ability to articulate clearly, which is essential for this type of system. The system's success depends solely on the training and enunciation skills of the single tutor.
I had intended using this with my grandson, before he was properly diagnosed with Asperger's. However, once the diagnosis was placed in his records, he's received a tremendous amount of academic assistance. So, as it were, these have not been used. However, I strongly believe in the Orton-Gillingham system. I would like to sell the set (Levels 1 & 2) for $200. :c) If you're still interested, or know someone who is, please let me know.
