I have an 11 yr. old that has been diagnosed with dyslexia, disgraphic, speech delayed and stuttering. The school has recently informed us that the dyslexia program at school is not working for him. It took them two years to figure this out. He is in resource classes for spelling, reading, grammar, dyslexia and math. He is becoming very angry and frustrated. We live in Texas so he has to take the modified TAKS which he hasn't passed yet. Because of this they want to hold him back. I have been researching home schooling and it looks promising. How do I deal with his angry outbursts and his refusal to work.
