It sounds like you have a good situation on your hands. You will have a writer on the New York Time's best seller list, AND a Financial Planner on Wall Street! My point is, there is always a bright side to every situation...my question is...are you homeschooling? If you are, or are thinking about it, go to www.theoaksprivateschool.com. They offer a variety of curriculums that could benefit both your son and daughter. They are an online homeschool cover school that takes care of everything. You have one child that is left-brained and a child that is right-brained. Unfortunately, if you're not both-brained, it can be hard to tap into their learning styles.
We have two adopted children, both with developmental and learning challenges. It's made teaching them the little things quite an adventure, and I've ended up learning more about MYSELF than I ever knew!
