Here in Ontario, we also were fighting for our daughter to get a good school education because of our "tax dollars". Gave up...or at least we are fighting while our daughter is being fabulously home schooled. Don't listen to naysayers. You have no time to waste...while they dither around, your daughter is losing precious educational time and worse, self-esteem. Homeschooling is cheap..start with Enchanted Learning.com...$20 bucks a year, fabulous stuff...American flavour. Go back to school after they have set up what you need, not during.
