Our son Jack has been in an ps autism program for a number of years. While he is a good reader and amazingly gifted in the areas of history & geography (we own lots and lots of maps & atlases :) ). He really struggles with math. Their solution is just to put him in a remedial math group. They don't seem to recognize that children under the autism/asperger's umbrella see things/learn things differently. Any suggestions of math that's worked well for your child would be greatly appreciated. This is my first time posting and reading this website.
