I had a horrific mediation session on Tuesday and the issue of home schooling came up. I was told (as I have been told since the beginning) that the system does NOT care whether we chose to home school or not. They impute a certain amount of income to the PCP whether we work or not.

I was told in the beginning that no one in the system would give me any sympathy about my pleas that I needed to stay home with the kids because all of them are working out of the home and see no reason why I should be treated as special.

If you have an ex that is willing to work with you, you might be able to get some compensation for that, but as far as I know, there are no courts that will uphold the mom-needs-to-stay-home-to-homeschool point of view.

With all that in mind, you CAN do it. There are many moms (and dads) on here who have fought the battle and won even without any support from the some cases even with opposition from the ex. So be encouraged and never give up!
