I am so happy to find this group. I am a single mom who will have to work outside the home. My daughter is in the 2nd grade, she likes Elementary so I'll keep her in public school for now. My son on the other hand is very discouraged and disappointed. I feel that he is far too bright to be treated like an inmate and be suppressed by public school. Since he is in Jr. High he's old enough to be home alone. Hopefully he can be kept interested in an online curriculum as well as workbook assignments. Good thing Homeschooling is 24 hours 7 days a week and year round.
