Hi, I am wanting to home-school my 5th grader. I also have medical needs, that prevent me from working.Lupus, and Fibromyalgia. We live in Illinois, and, we moved here about 3 wks. ago. My problem is this.I have no idea where to start and want to make sure everything is legal. My husband moved us in the middle of nowwhere,left us here, will not speak or give cash... and, he wants custody of only my 10 yr. old son. (I also have a 5 yr. old daughter.) I need to get 5th grade curriculum, and start a.s.a.p. Please send me any thoughts or ideas my way.I am scared to death of losing my son due to something I missed. Thanks for your patience.
