My Mom lives 500 miles away, and so do xdh's parents -- who pretty much disowned me AND the kids when their son went bad. I wouldn't even ask them to put out the flames if my hair was on fire! They'd probably try to douse it with kerosene. Xdh is now having a baby with his wife of 4 months, so our kids are even more unhappy with him. I'm coping by putting ds in school come August. He will find out what hard work really is!
