I started driving a school bus after my divorce. It has allowed me to continue homeschooling. I have also cleaned houses. During the summers I have usually worked in the child care field. Look for other ways to supplement your income as well. For example, every spring and every fall I resell my children's outgrown clothes, toys, etc. at a seasonal children's consignment sale. I didn't make that much the first few years, but I have really learned what sells best and what prices to charge. At the most recent one,(which I wasn't really ready for), I made $300. There are plenty of opportunities to make a little extra. Just keep your eyes open and don't be scared to try something new. It just may be the blessing you are looking for. Also, put money back when you have extra, because "Rainy days" will come. Just remember, the sun always shines again. Feel free to email me directly if you want.
