Christian Liberty Press...has an English book that is a review of the skills you need for high school. I got it for my son who HATES English. The book is called Language Exercises and you can get the work book for your son and teacher's books for you. You can find CLP by going through the homschools.org website and following the links. He may never learn to love English. I always hoped that since I home schooled my son, he'd develop a love for it...NOT. Some kids are just not wired for it. Hope that helps!
