I stumbled across this site as I googled Single Parent Homeschooling and found that I have been sitting here reading the posts for quite some time. I was originally on a quest for some answers to hsing as a single mom but, was glad that I came across this particular post. As I see that this woman, Brenda C is from SC and that is where I am looking to move to with my three children. I would like to ask if there is any way in which she could please contact me off list (or however you say that concerning this board) and let me know if it is legal in SC to have your children in a daycare during the day and then homeschool them in the evening and on weekends? I am just trying to find a way in which to get things up and running with our new life without having to give them even more of an adjustment that thier father and I do not agree upon=Public school. Thanks if anyone knows and could contact me off list at lovewalkingintherain@gmail.com if not, I've added this to my fav's and hope that I remember to check back...off to search for more answers to my questions. Thanks to the (obviously) sweet women here...reading the posts here have given me a wide range of emotions and helps for myself! Happy homeschooling to all! ((hugs))~Lila
