My hat is off to you!! If you can get/finish your degree while parenting, you can definitely homeschool your children while doing something else!! I have a friend who homeschools and she has done day care at the same time. I personally would think getting your degree to be quite draining (not that homeschooling doesn't make it's own demands on you) It's just that the rewards of homeschooling are so beneficial to the family that it seems well worth it, I think. If you have an education degree, you could probably provide some classes within the homeschool community - something to make money, that is. There's always something that each parent/family finds themselve weaker in and is often willing to look outside the home for assistance in that subject area. I wish you all the best as you sort things out!
