Wow...everytime I go to substitute teach...I am always am comforted about bringing my son home again! Well...boy did I have a revelation the last time I subbed! I was talking with a teacher during lunch break and she was asking about me. (we were in a high school setting). I brought up that I homeschool my son. She told me that the teacher next door to my classroom homeschools her daughter. I asked if her husband does the teaching..she said no, her husband works in the same school as her! The child is 15 years old and I assume she is given assigments to do during the daytime. The teacher I was speaking with has a 10 year old..and she does NOT want her to go to the public middle or highschools and that she may also be thinking about homeschooling her children too! How enlightening!!! And encouraging.
