Hi! I am a single mom and I homeschool my two sons. We had homeschooled many years and Christian school for a couple of years. My divorce was final this past spring, and "dad" doesn't call or check on the boys (teen/preteen). I cried and prayed and prayed and cried, but decided that even BUSY, no one else cared as much about my sons success than I did. I work as a nurse (three 12 hour shifts/wk) and we accept any help offered by family, friends, etc...I have to admit, sometimes I question whether I am doing what is truly best for my boys. It seems that they are alone a lot more than I want them to be. On the other hand, my kids seem to be happy and enjoy spending time with me...except for math of course.
