You were given some good advice. I have been a homeschooling mom for near 18 years now. Before I went through the sep/div pain I operated a statewide network catering to those considering homeschooling and those who do. There one thing to keep in mind, no one but the mother (or dad) will climb the highest mountain for the needs of their child, whether it be academic or emotional, spiritual. Where there is a will there is a way and by this we also show our children how to be strong against all the odds. I wish you all the best in homeschooling while in college. I returned to college 3 years ago and still home school my last 4 at home. It is a hard task, but I would not have it any other way. Remember home schooling means to work the home schooling into the fiber of your life, not to work your life around homeschooling. The advice the one lady gave you is a good one, but an issue that has to be thought of is how tired children are after dinner time and that is usually not the best time to school. If you could find homeschooling mothers that do a co-op where you help teach each others kids is the best route. I sit here considering putting together a support group for divorced, single homeschooling mothers...it is needed for support, fellowship as to be single or divorced and homeschooling is a very very hard task and not easy to do without getting to a breaking point. If there is anyone in the Buffalo NY area that is widowed, single, divorced, separated and homeschooling and would like to be a part of a support circle please let me know at pebbles11160@ a d e l p h i a@net
