I know this was an old post topic. But I just found this board and I'm having a great time getting to know you from reading old posts. I frequently count my blessings. It helps lighten up each day. My son and I are blessed with good health. And for a single parent family this is a huge blessing. We are blessed to live in AZ where it's easy to homeschool, and we are surounded by homeschool families. We are blessed to have been accepted into a beautiful, special townhome community that provides homes for single moms & special needs people. We are blessed with lots and lots of free & low cost opportunities for social & academic enrichment for both of us. I am blessed that I have found and can handle 3 jobs. I am blessed that my parents support my homeschooling. We are blessed that gov't insurance covers a variety of therapies & regular Saturday respite. I am blessed that I was able to live my dream of running a kids theater company before my son was born, so now I don't feel that I missed out. I realized recently that we have a lot of friends that care about us and I didn't even know it. My son was in a show and a lot of friends showed up to support us - I didn't even know they were coming. I was very moved by this. And of course my son, the biggest blessing of all, for without him my life would have been very different. Chandra
