Time is flying by, and we are planning for Savannah's graduation coming up in the spring.
I want this to be a thing she'll remember forever. We're hoping to get her a class ring with my tax money and will be getting her senior portraits done soon (a girl I work with is a professional photographer and is giving me a bargain!).
We've looked into renting/buying a gown for her, and have planned a graduation party for the church. If some of the other seniors in our home school group want to do a group graduation, we'll do that...otherwise we'll make it a solo celebration at the party at church.
I LOVE ceremonies and pomp and circumstance, but have never had even one ceremony for myself, since I graduated through home school and didn't have any kind of wedding to speak of. We moved just a week or so before both Kindergarten Graduation and Middle School Graduation. It's so much fun to do it for the first time with one of my children! I'm so excited!
Anybody done this kind of thing before? Any suggestions, tips, hints? If you want a mailed invitation, please send me your snail mail!
Blessings!
Priscilla
